Kerkering Barberio Announces New Shareholder - Leading Southwest Florida CPA Firm Admits New Shareholder

Kerkering, Barberio & Co., Certified Public Accountants, is pleased to announce that Brian Simmons has been admitted as a Shareholder, effective August 2023.  Brian joins the firm with more than 30 years of experience advising entrepreneurs, privately held businesses, and high-net-worth individuals on a wide range of tax planning and business matters. Prior to joining Kerkering Barberio, he held the role of a shareholder for several years with both national and local CPA firms and has also served as Chief Financial Officer for a large consulting firm. Brian has extensive experience with the taxation of S corporations, C corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and tax-exempt organizations. He also regularly represents clients in tax audits and disputes before the Internal Revenue Service and state agencies.
