Description: Bethany will discuss the launch of Kerkering Barberio’s Business Development Summer Series, designed to make BD approachable, actionable, and aligned with individual strengths. These sessions helped staff see BD as something they could start practicing today—not years down the road. She will walk through how the program was built—from identifying the need, designing the curriculum, and creating momentum across departments to measuring the outcomes that followed. You’ll learn how a simple mindset shift turned business development from an intimidating concept into a firmwide culture of curiosity, confidence, and connection.

Brent will discuss Ander’s approach to business development training. Leveraging his cross-functional role, Brent collaborates across departments to help team members identify new prospects, deepen client relationships, and uncover cross-serving opportunities. Brent will outline Anders’ business development training strategy, which includes networking strategies, hands-on learning, and the use of sales enablement tools like Introhive and Propense to enhance outreach and engagement. He will explain how the firm equips professionals at all levels with the confidence and resources to drive growth through client conversations, and strategic planning. Actively involved in delivering this training, Brent will highlight how Anders fosters a culture of shared growth responsibility.
