Accountants are responsible for upholding ethical standards to safeguard stakeholder interests and contribute to societal well-being.
On the other hand, accountants face important challenges and opportunities in social responsibility, ensuring the profession's relevance and impact.

Jaime Francisco Suárez Herrera, CPA, is the President & Audit Partner at LEADING EDGE AUDIT & CONSULTING in Ecuador.

- Fue vicepresidente de la Comisión de Auditoría de A.I.C. y presidente de la Federación Nacional de Contadores del Ecuador. Ha realizado cursos de capacitación en USA, Europa y ha sido instructor en diferentes países de Latinoamérica.
- He was the Vice President of the Audit Committee of A.I.C., and President of the National Federation of Accountants of Ecuador. He has conducted training courses in the USA and Europe and has been an instructor in different countries in Latin America.
