Please complete this survey if you plan to attend the Fly-In so we can get an idea of who plans to attend the group dinner on Tuesday evening, interest in rideshares, etc.
Schedule of Events
Tuesday, October 3rd - 6:00/7:00 pm group dinner for those arriving in time
Wednesday, October 4th - Meeting from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; group dinner to follow
Thursday, October 5th - Meeting from 8:00 am to 12:00 Noon
Dinners and any after hours activity will be at The Battery (home of the Atlanta Braves) which is full of restaurants, bars, escape rooms/theater/bowling/etc. and much more. The Battery is a little less than 2 miles from the BT office, but not walkable with hills and heat. Plan to rideshare in small groups as much as possible (Uber/Lyft).
Recommended Hotels
Aloft Atlanta at The Battery Atlanta – Marriott property
Recommended – This hotel does have a small bar with sitting area (beverages and lite fare), but no room service menu. There is breakfast on weekdays and coffee service (with iced coffee as well).
Omni at the Battery Atlanta – Definitely the nicer hotel at The Battery and really cool views. However, I there is a game or event that day so the prices range from $800-1000/night. Maybe you will get lucky and find a deal if this is your preference!
Sheraton Suites Galleria-Atlanta – Marriott property – not at The Battery, but in between The Battery and the BT offices so could be picked up on the way if you prefer this hotel.
