The New Partner Collaboration Group is formed to create a community for new partners with 1-7 years of experience
There has never been a more energizing time to be a New Partner in the public accounting industry. As our profession transforms (with merger and acquisition activity, influx of private equity, changing workforce, etc.), we need new leaders who can navigate these challenges and embrace the opportunities created by rapid and large-scale change.
The LEA North America New Partners Collaboration Group (NA NPCG) offers LEA members an opportunity to network, collaborate and discuss topics and resources relevant to their career paths after reaching the “partner” title. From quarterly calls to LEA conferences, there are ample opportunities to get involved and learn from other new partners. During our meetings, we will have the opportunity to discuss challenges we are all facing as accounting professionals and offer potential solutions as an LEA community; this is an exciting opportunity to gain insight from and exposure to colleagues at other public accounting firms across the country. We encourage New Partners to sign up for the NPCG through our member portal!
The LEA NA NPCG Steering Committee (Steering Committee) is currently comprised of (4) members, representing (3) LEA Global firms. We are looking to add additional New Partners to the Steering Committee, particularly to be champions for the new leaders within our firms. The Steering Committee meets monthly via a 1-hour conference call to determine topics, speakers, format/logistics for quarterly New Partner webinars, etc., as well as provide guidance and leadership for other New Partner initiatives. Refer below for additional details regarding the Annual Planning Framework the Steering Committee laid out for 2025. If interested in joining the steering committee, please contact Nikki Dwyer at [email protected]
For now, the Portal Group is open to anyone around the LEA Global community; however, the events are oriented towards the North America and Europe time zones. However, any new partner can attend the event or listen to the recordings. Once the initial effort has been completed, other regional efforts will be advanced.
