There has never been a more energizing time to be a New Partner in the public accounting industry. As our profession transforms (with merger and acquisition activity, influx of private equity, changing workforce, etc.), we need new leaders who can navigate these challenges and embrace the opportunities created by rapid and large-scale change.
On this call we will discuss the firm's approach to new client acceptance and onboarding, particularly in light of current workforce and scheduling constraints. The group will explore best practices for cross-departmental collaboration on engagements requiring both tax and attest services, especially when capacity is limited in one area. Additionally, we will review the role and authority of the Client Acceptance Committee, including whether the firm has minimum criteria in place for accepting new clients.
